ABOUT ME
I am a wife and mother of four wonderful children—two sons aged eight and seven, and two daughters aged five and two. Growing up in Rapid City as the middle of three sisters, I always dreamed of becoming a stay-at-home mom, and I am grateful to be living that dream today.
My journey into doula work began with seven years of experience as a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. This role ignited my passion for pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, which led me to pursue further training as a doula. Over the past eight years, I have navigated various personal experiences, including pregnancy loss, four healthy pregnancies, one emergency cesarean section, and three planned cesarean sections, along with numerous postpartum challenges.
These experiences have provided me with a profound understanding and empathy for the complexities of postpartum and breastfeeding journeys. My personal insights and dedication to supporting others have guided me to embrace doula work as my calling. With my extensive personal experience and unwavering passion, I am committed to providing compassionate and informed support to families during one of life’s most transformative periods.
